AAAR creation of 'two" ETL

I have been trying to create a basic document analysis report in ACE 5.2. Following Franc blog I was able to install and configure PDI PBA and AAAR.

But am stuck at creating the ETL ,all the blogs reffers to creating two ETL ,to get the Audit from alfresco process and update into DataMart.

Can any please explain me about this process.

A practical example with such ETL will help me out.

Can you please share your environment.

Which AAAR/Alflytics version are you using?
Which Pentaho version?
Which Operating System are you using?

Hello Franc thanks for your reply,

Your blog was really helpful, i was able to generate and view the report.

My Environment is,

Windows 7

PBA - 7

PDI -7

AAAR - 4.5

I would like to learn about the Data transformation method used to Extract Data from alfresco and transform it for reporting purposes.

As i will be working on Alfresco maintenance, i will be responsible for custom report generation,for example report on a particular document or Folder.

Everything is open source.
I suggest you to open the spoon UI and open Get all job.

Everything starts from there.

What ever the extraction i do, it seems that Nodes Staging Failed,i guess which in turn affects the Data Quality.

Do i have to enable any other properties from alfresco side?

audit.enabled = true
audit.alfresco-access.enabled=true

What understanding am missing? Kindly teach me!

Hi,

There is an issue on the repository extraction (this is why the Data Quality dashboard is useful because it tells you when and where the extraction went well or wrong).
Please check the catalina.out for further details on the issue.
Please open a new question if you'd want to ask more, because it is another thread.
