ACS and Kerberos SSO to Alfresco Share - Do I need CIFS?

Hi,

quick question:

We are using ACS 5.2.3 Enterprise at present.

Is configuring CIFS to enable Kerberos SSO to the Alfresco Share a requirement or can we omit?

We have configured everything required for SSO apart from enabling CIFS and having a CIFS user configured in AD.

We only use HTTPS to connect to the Alfresco Share at present.

Update: I have now got SSO working from Edge Chrome and Internet Explorer 11 but not from Firefox (78.2.0esr (64-Bit)). I configured Firefox as stated in the Alfresco docs but this has not helped. I always reach the Alfresco Share login screen. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you :-)
