Alfresco Enterprise license expired

Guys can you let me know if I would be able to view custom rules on alfresco folders when alfresco enterprise license expires?

after license expiry repository goes in read only mode. So no write operations can be performed but i guess you can still navigate through files, folders, rules etc.
