Hi,
I am using the Alfresco Version Community - 6.0.7 (r2ba893dd-b113) with the ability to edit Office documents online.
This is working via Alfresco and also via an external client with the correct URL if there is an interaction with the AOS service.
If there is nothing to save or if i only open a MS Word document via the "Edit in Microsoft Office™" button and close the MS Word application without making anything the file will be read only in future. There is no lock in the Alfresco web application visible.
Is there a possibility to avoid this?
Steps to reproduce:
==> Error; the doc from now will be opened only as read only
dis you solve the problem ?
got the same since 3 month....
nope. the problem is still there.
i think it got worse with every Office365 Update...
Hi, I´am struggeling with the same problem: from the alfresco doc bib I can open via AOS the document in Word but it is always write-protected. For my work it is important to have a stable workflow with those kinds of documents.
I looged off and re-logged in Office 365 and tried severals Alfresco-Users (Admin too), even docs in the home-directory are write-protected . My neighbour have not these problems on the same Alfresco, different user and MS Office 365 (his license)
hi !
pls keep me posted.
I've got no clue why this is happening
very interesting that some user suffer the problem, some not
Yes, we both using Word 16.23, for him its no problem to have access.
1. Upload a Word doc (docx) to Alfresco
2. Click the uploaded doc to see the details page
3. Open the doc via the "Edit in Microsoft Office™" button
and then it is read-only in Word. I have to copy that document but that isn´t a solution. I have no possibilities to unlock my own document in word for re-editing.
Tried it with docx, doc, txt. I put a password for opening the doc, saved it in Alfresco and then first I had to write the password and after: read-only. No chance to get rights.
