Hi,
I need someone to clarify this for me. Can you design and deploy your own workflows using Alfresco Community edition 5.0? If not, is it possible using an earlier edition or would I have to upgrade to the enterprise edition?
Thanks,
Josh

Yes, you can design your own custom workflows using the Activiti Designer using Eclipse IDE or using any other BPMN 2.0 Editor.
For deploying workflows using the Community edition of Alfresco you have to put your custom workflows in the extension classpath of Alfresco, for example: alfresco/extension/workflows/* and then you can deploy it using the Workflow Console:

Hope this helps.
