Copy alf_data from windows to linux

Hello, 

Is it safe to copy alf_data folder from windows to linux? 

I am planning to upgrade from 5.2 on windows to 6.1 on docker linux

This link is interesting about the upgrade but it is from linux to linux

Upgrading from Alfresco 5 to Alfresco 6 (our way) - keensoft

There should be no problem at all copying alf_data from Windows to Linux, as nothing should affect the specific file contents in doing so. You may only wish to re-visit file permission on the various files / folders to make sure they are accessible by the account under which Alfresco is run on Linux, and to potentially prevent (read) access by other users.
