Custom d:date property is not searchable

I have created a custom type using model manager in alfresco community 5.2.

There is one custom d:date property which I want to be searchable in advanced search.

I have done the share configuration for the advanced search form. I also have tried with the datarange.ftl control.

All other properties are searchable but d:date is not being searched. I don't want to use a bootstrap approach for content model as I need to use model manager only.

Probably it’s due to hour/minutes information. Have you tried with a daterange.ftl control?

Yes, I also have tried with the daterange.ftl but it does not work.

To keep it simple I used d:text instead of d:date and storing a date in the "22-Mar-19" format and "Free text" as indexing. But it did not work.
