Delete custom rendition

Hi all,
in my Alfresco 4.2.2 I defined some custom renditions for images files type.
I need to know if there is a way to delete this rendition (not the original) and how works the deletion mechanism (I know that there is a job during the night that mark as "to delete" an object but I doesn't find on the web the "rules" that this job use to do this).
