I created a tag on one of my files in My Site > Document Library. But I cannot find any tag in the left navigation section under the Tags menu. What is wrong?
> Documents | Select Create... Upload > Library | [-] | Documents > [-] My_Folder > Categories | /////// My_File V Tags | //IMG// ... (nothing here) | /////// (a_tag)
PS: How to upload the picture in this message?

Do you see any error logs in share.log/alfresco.log when you go to document library? Was the tag created successfuly?
Enable this log - log4j.logger.org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger=DEBUG
And see if you can locate any errors while creating the tag or doclib page loading.
Go to admin tools > tag manager. See if you can find the newly created tags.
I had the similar issue in the past and the problem was as some special characters. So additionally, check if the missing tags has any special characters by querying the Db.

There is no error in the log.
I can see the tags in the tag management. I can click the tag and find the tagged documents in the repository. I can see all the tags in the Repository Browser.
If I go to the site document library, the tags are not listed in the left pane but are shown under the document description.
There is no special character in the tag.

I am using Alfresco Community - 5.2.0 with Chrome
I saw some errors in Chrome but I think they are not related to my issue:

Did you enabled the log config i shared? Have you done any customizations to the document library ?
See if you can open browser console and locate any errors when you go to document library.

I enabled the log as you described. There is no log in alfresco.log after I created a tag on one file.
Here is what I got when creating a tag "ruby"
2019-11-07 09:55:41,852 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] children type = category 2019-11-07 09:55:41,852 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] argsSelectableType = cm:category 2019-11-07 09:55:41,853 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] argsFilterType = null 2019-11-07 09:55:41,853 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] argsSearchTerm = ruby 2019-11-07 09:55:41,853 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] argsMaxResults = 10 2019-11-07 09:55:41,853 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] argsXPath = null 2019-11-07 09:55:41,853 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] argsSelectableMimeType = null 2019-11-07 09:55:41,853 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] lastPathElement = children 2019-11-07 09:55:42,035 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] Found 1 results 2019-11-07 09:55:46,040 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-40] json form submission for item: 2019-11-07 09:55:46,042 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-40] kind = node 2019-11-07 09:55:46,042 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-40] id = workspace/SpacesStore/af6a519d-db87-48b1-a05f-4ac016152d1f
Here is what I click on the tag:
2019-11-07 09:56:39,101 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-37] doclist.lib.js - NodeRef: null Query: +PATH:"/app:company_home/st:sites/cm:projecttest/cm:documentLibrary//*" +PATH:"/cm:taggable/cm:ruby/member" 2019-11-07 09:56:39,121 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-37] doclist.lib.js - query results: 2 2019-11-07 09:56:39,121 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-37] doclist.lib.js - totalRecords: 2
Here is what I got when I refresh the folder:
2019-11-07 09:59:20,513 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] doclist.lib.js - NodeRef: null Query: +PATH:"/app:company_home/st:sites/cm:projecttest/cm:documentLibrary/cm:xyz/*" -TYPE:"cm:systemfolder" -TYPE:"fm:forums" -TYPE:"fm:forum" -TYPE:"fm:topic" -TYPE:"fm:post" 2019-11-07 09:59:20,528 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] doclist.lib.js - query results: 3 2019-11-07 09:59:20,528 DEBUG [org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptLogger] [http-apr-8080-exec-23] doclist.lib.js - totalRecords: 3
I guess the doclib view does not update because the new tag does not appear, and a deleted tag is still listed.
Someone may have changed the tag display because we met a tag related exception before. I want to find out what is changed.
