File transfer very slow in Alfresco Community 7.0.0

Hi,

I'm using Bitnami Alfresco Community 7.0.0 and I'm facing slow upload and download to and from Share, from web interface or webdav, max speed is about 700 kB/s while transferring the same file with winscp, I can go up tu 13 ~ 14 MB/s.

What am I missing ? How can it be fine tuned ?

Alfresco is not a filesystem, as it includes some additional operations when uploading a file.

Performance is not equivalent to SCP / SFTP operations.

You're right, scp transfer is direct os while with Alfresco, there are other things involved, so can't compare.

For your information, Alfresco server is a VM in a Proxmox host:

1- Alfresco to normal client (not VM): download ~ 700 kB/s and stuck 75%

2- Alfresco to a VM in same proxmox host: download > 2.5 MB/s

Need to check the Proxmox Networking.
