Hi,
We have a requirement where in the customer is using a Microsoft Access Database to lookup information related to his organization.
Is there a way I can develop a page on Alfresco Share UI on Community and make it interact with this database?
Has anyone come across a similar requirement? Please provide your views and guidance.

I have come across similar requirements in the past, and always been able to argue / convince the customer that it was a horrible idea and the data should be moved to a proper database. Microsoft Access has no place in the world for profressional data management, and accessing it from anything other than Microsoft-based products is a major pain.

Thank you for your reply... would it make sense if we moved the data into a MySql or PostgreSql and created a relevant custom Share page to perform queries and display data?
