Integration with other applications ( hooks )

Hello there, 

 

I wanted to ask what is the best way to integrate Alfresco with other applications ? 

Is there a hook interface that i can subscribe to changes happening ( uploading/deleting of files ) ?

You may use the Alfresco Events API:
