Environment: Alfresco Community 5.1f on CentOS7 with Postgres9.6
Phenomenon: Lost some month directory with all files from /alf_data/contentstore/yyyy/
Operation: We removed access authority from one group and moved document folders to other group from share GUI and admin user.
It worked at this point, but we found all folders moved could not access at the next day.
Also found /alf_data/contentstore/yyyy/mm directory was removed.
It is the first time to this kind of problem we encountered.
If you have similar problem, any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

What does it mean "It worked at this point, but we found all folders moved could not access at the next day."? Do you see some errors or folder just doesn't exist?
I see several possible problems:
1) The user that you are testing from, doesn't have permissions to the folder
2) Maybe somebody removed it by mistake? Try to find a folder in Alfresco Trash Can from Share GUI, if it is there then you can restore it.
3) The folder is moved to another place, try to find it through the search.
Thanks for your comment!

The folder just doesn't exist.

It performed from admin and it has all permission.

I'll check it again.
