Overriding slingshot.site.configuration.xml does not show any effect in alfresco 5.2

Hi,

I have overrided default page in alfresco with custom page by following the below link.

i created all the related file in shared/..../web-extension/site-data/configurations  directory. but there is no effect with this changes.

can anyone help me finding out the problem why redirection is not happening. and i have not done any changes with core files. Just created simple custom page and overrided slingshot.site.configuration.xml.

There is nothing mentioned in log files related to this.

If it is once it may be done directly in content store on file system (find in node-browser  the location of the content for slingshot.site.configuration.xml).
