Search Services 1.4.3 and AWS EFS

Jump to solution

Hi,

We are running alfresco-content-repository-community:6.2.0-ga and alfresco-search-services:1.4.3 on AWS EKS.

Search service is by default using a EBS volume. Is there any known issues by running it on a EFS(NFS), will it impact  performance ?

There are some nice explanations on why SOLR is discouraged to be installed using NFS mounts in:

"Lucene locking and commits do not work correct on NFS file systems because they are not fully POSIX conformant"
