Single Tenant vs Multiple Tenant

How to check whether the installed Alfresco community edition instance is Single-Tenant (ST) or Multiple Tenant (MT)?

Every installation of Alfresco is capable of being a single or multi-tenant instance. There is technically no difference in installation for either use case. The only difference is within the runtime data, i.e. if a second tenant has been initialised. You can use the tenant console in the Repository-tier Admin Console to check the initialised tenants.
