I have followed then following stepps to start the libreoffice in Linux Server:

This document can't be previewed. Click here to download it.

This issue comes when LibreOffice is not running.

For Linux system go to the directory:
Alfresco-installed-folder/libreoffice/scripts:

Inside this folder you will get a file libreoffice_ctl.sh now run command to check whether it is
running or not by using command:

Command--> ./libreoffice_ctl.sh status

It will give the status running, not running etc.

Now if it is not running run it by using command:
./libreoffice_ctl.sh start

If you get an answer that it could not be started then you need to do some changes to start itotherwise it will work no need to read the further line of documentation but if incase it is not
getting started u proceed with the further steps.

1-You need to check if any library is missing of libreoffice for that you have to go to:

Alfresco-installed-folder/libreoffice/program

There you will get a file soffice.bin run that file you will come to know the name of the library
that is missing like libdbus-glib-1.so.2 with any name that no file or directory by this name is
found.

Now once you come to know that which library is missing install that library by using the
command:

apt-get install missing_library_name
For Example --> apt-get install libdbus-glib-1.so.2

Now after getting the missing library we have to do a small change.

Edit the file:
Alfresco-installed-folder/alfresco.sh modify the line LIBREOFFICE_SCRIPT with the correct
script path as below:

LIBREOFFICE_SCRIPT=$INSTALLDIR/libreoffice/scripts/libreoffice_ctl.sh

Try to start openoffice using the script

Alfresco-installed-folder /libreoffice/scripts/libreoffice_ctl.sh start
restart alfresco

You must see the line
Alfresco-installed-folder /libreoffice/scripts/libreoffice_ctl.sh :libreoffice started at port 8100
Once the LibreOffice get started you will get to see the doc, docs, xls file in your DMS properly.
