Use Alfresco with HTTP but serve it over HTTPS using Nginx

Hello,

I have installed Alfresco Community 6 GA using the distribution zip and everything works like charm (LDAP, Sites, Modules, etc).

I have set it up using normal http (port = 8080, protocol=http,no secure comms with solr6, etc).

Now I have installed nginx and configured an SSL certificate with my domain name and it works when tested without alfresco.

I wanna use the nginx to proxy pass to alfresco and share..

Can I do that and proxy pass to the 8080 port and would the HTTPS work?

Or will alfresco just use plain http and that won't work at all?

If yes, give me an easier guide than the one on the alfresco site, because it's a little bit complex, and i can't get alfresco to work with https and all the certs/keystores thingy.

Greetings and thank you in advance,
