Quickstart "what"? Are you talking about Alfresco Content Services, Process Services or something else? Are you referring to an AWS Quickstart setup or a local one? Why can you not telnet to 8180?

Sometimes it helps to write in complete sentences and explain a bit more of what you are working on / with, and what you have done so far...
