is there
any support for persisting wait states, tasks, process states to a database ?
when tasks are "assigned" /"claimed" in the examples (eg. LeaveRequest) we run with the explorer,
do the changes happen at the db level?

Hi Kumar,
There is defentiely support for wait states, tasks, etc. to be persisted in the database. In fact, that's the whole point of the Activiti engine 🙂
Tasks that are assigned/claimed will lead indeed to changes in the database.
