starting activiti modeller without having a cloud infrastructure

hi,

I would like to have activity modeler running on my local computer. I have no access to any cloud container.

I am aware of these two components:

 - https://github.com/Activiti/activiti-cloud-modeling - I suppose this is the backend for the ui.

 - https://github.com/Activiti/activiti-modeling-app - I guess this is a ui application (angular).

is there anything else I need to run to have a functioning activity modeler?

is there a guide on this topic?

thanks.

Re: starting activiti modeller without having a cloud infrastructure

Hello, I'm facing the same challenge.

I've a local Alfresco Content Service / Share running on my local computer.

When it comes to modeling there is Activity Designer for Eclipse. But it seems to be outdated and not ready for the latest Eclipse versions (due to an outdated version of Eclipse Graphity, i think...)

Regarding the https://github.com/Activiti/activiti-modeling-app I can not find a ready build version that I can run locally (In Tomcat / nodejs or whatever) and I couldn't find a tutorial for that.

So what is the prefered way to visually design BPMN2 Processes and deploy them to the Activity engine that is embedded in my local ACS?

Re: starting activiti modeller without having a cloud infrastructure

Hello dear,

Did find a way to resolve this issue?
I am a bit new to Alfresco and I am facing exactly the same issue. I need to use the modeler along with share.

Thank you in advance
