Importing Document Annotations in Alfresco

I am migrating content from ligacy system to Alfresco using Alfresco InPlace bulk import. How to migrate document annotations from legacy system to Alfresco?

Are there any APIs or sdk availalbe for importing annotations in Alfresco docuemnts?
