One of our clients has an Alfresco server (Community edition) with a large number of sites. He reports that one site is not sending notification emails when documents are uploaded.
Where are the relevant settings - I can't find anything on the admin dashboard or anywhere else for that matter.
Thanks
Steve
Alfresco is not sending notifications when a document is uploaded, is there any rule attached to a Site folder that is providing this feature?
There is no such feature OOTB in alfresco. Alfresco doesn't send any email notifications on file uploads. There is no settings or configuration in admin tools either to setup these notifications. It must be some kind of custom rules/ custom behaviors which you would crerate to listen to content upload event and notify the user.
You may have to check your source code to see if you have created any behavior or rules to handle this event. You may also check folder rules configured per site as well. Its totally custom code/configuration.
@abhinavmishra14 What's the difference between your reply and mine?
My bad sorry, i did quick reply and did not notice that you have replied already.
Thanks for your reply. Where would I look for these rules?
Steve

Thanks, that's probably it. I've let the client know.
