ADF component to add a custom aspect to a file

Is there any ADF component which allows a user to add a new type or aspect to a file?

Currently, we are running ADF 2.6 and the only metadata-related component we can find is the Content Metadata Component. However, this component doesn't allow a user to pick a new aspect, like the Manage Aspects button in Share did.

Is this functionality currently missing in ADF 2.6? If it is, will it be included in ADF 3.0?

Sorry at the moment there is no component like that you can still create something similar coding it in Angular/Typescript

Thank you for your reply! Is there any information about such a functionality in the upcoming ADF 3.0? I can't find anything related to 3.0 on Github right now.

if you filter for milestone 3.0.0 in the GitHub PR merged you will find all of them or you can use the ADF Jira. I am sorry to tell you that you are not going anyway to find this functionality in that milestone

If someone has the same questions and stumbles upon this thread, there is a follow-up at REST API endpoint to add aspects to a file.
